Additional Sales Channels to Drive Further Growth of Align in US and Canada

Following the U.S national rollout of Align in the Over the Counter (OTC) retail and wholesale sales channels in 2009, Alimentary Health (AH) has concluded a further distribution deal with its valued long standing partner Procter & Gamble (P&G) to open additional sales channel for Align containing Bif 35624 (Bifidobacterium Bifantis 35624), within the United States of America and Canada.

These additional sales channels will provide the option to explore servicing specialist outlets including hospital pharmacy departments, nursing care facilities and skilled nursing inpatient facilities.

This is an opportunity to understand the potential of Align with new groups of consumers who, due to their circumstances, cannot access the product through regular consumer sales channels. As part of this new agreement, P&G and AH have affirmed their intent to explore strategic global expansion opportunities for products comprising Bif 35624.
