Introducing the 3rd Generation Precision Strains

Finding the right strain for the right indication

AH has an extensively developed bank of strain isolates and considerable know-how around screening and selecting bacterial strain candidates for specific indications. AH’s strength is in combining commercially relevant parameters with targeted screening in the focus area. We offer our partners expertise in microbiome research and development, and contribute in-depth competence in areas such as product development, product scale-up and regulatory support. AH has a well-defined pipeline of product potential from next generation targeted smart strain candidates.

Introducing 3rd generation - PrecisionBiotic® cultures.

Not all bacterial strains are alike. Our science is showing us that a new level of strain specificity can be achieved, where it is possible (with the right science) to select the right strain for the right indication. These PrecisionBiotic® cultures achieve a superior level of efficacy in a so-called ‘smart’ or targeted action to deliver benefit where it is needed.

Platforms

Obesity & Metabolic Sydrome

AH, through its own programme, has yielded promising bacterial candidates and are progressing these specialised strains through to the next phase of investigation.

Women’s Health

AH has a pipeline of strains that have been specifically isolated for application in vaginal health.

Infection

AH, through its collaboration with the APC, is developing a cocktail of third generation strains with enhanced activity against superbugs such as C. difficile.

Allergy & Asthma

AH has an active research programme with SIAF, through its subsidiary AHPD, applying its highly specific immunoregulatory probiotic strains to target lung inflammation.

Stress & Cognition

AH has promising strain candidates through its own programme and collaboration with the APC and are progressing through to the next phase of investigation.

Elderly and Sarcopenia

This is an exciting new area for the application of AH’s extensive knowledge in gut health and immunity.

Digestive Health

This is a longstanding pillar of AH’s research resulting in the development of the 35624™ culture, the no. 1 Gastroenterologist recommended strain in the U.S. This is a continual focus for AH research and proprietary brand development.
